As a wedding planner with 10 years of experience with weddings and events, Jenny & Todd’s Museum of the American Arts & Crafts Movement wedding in Downtown St. Petersburg was one for the books.

They started the day with a welcome cocktail hour filled with drinks, appetizers, and an oyster bar. The bride and groom mingled with guests as a violinist played their favorite songs.
The ceremony was held in the Grand Atrium featuring the iconic staircase and a lush chuppah. The chuppah was built by their temple and was adorned with flowers from The Revel Co.
There was a surprise special guest at the ceremony - their dog, Thor. Running down the aisle to his mom and dad, Thor was wearing a custom bowtie collar. After not being able to find what we were envisioning, I reached out to Reverie Social, who was supplying all of the table linens, and we were able to purchase a single napkin that matched the reception linens. I worked with a local seamstress who created the custom bowtie collar using the napkin that also had a detachable pouch to hold the wedding rings.
The grand atrium was able to fit almost 200 chairs for guests and we added some lounge seating for Jenny and Todd’s kids in the front row.
By standing on a riser provided by Vivant Rentals and having The Production Crew there to manage the ceremony microphones and audio created a ceremony that everyone was able to see and hear.
The luxurious, layered draping from FH Events created a soft and warm atmosphere within the 5-story atrium.
When the ceremony concluded, guests made their way up the marble staircase to the ballroom for the cocktail style reception. Jenny and Todd wanted a PARTY.

Complete with multiple areas for mingling, a huge dance floor, and a 7 piece band with a stage, the party was about to begin.
The layered draping from FH Events was carried through to the ballroom and served as a backdrop to the stage and bistro style seating for guests.
Pub tables lined the dance floor with cocktail tables near the bar. Lounge seating was offered in The Collector’s Gallery just outside the ballroom.
The custom circular bar from Vivant Rentals saw drinks flowing all night long along with the bar back shelving. The florals and signage from The Revel Co. completed the luxurious bar design.

#NoFilter kept the party going all night long in the Museum’s ballroom. The dance floor was never empty.
