Planning a wedding or event comes with a lot of moving parts (and probably a few late-night Google searches). We get it and we’re here to make the process feel a whole lot smoother. Here you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we get from clients from what to expect when working with us to the little details that help bring everything together. If you don’t see your question here, don’t worry, we’re always just an email away.
Full service wedding planning is a collaborative experience with expert insight and a smooth, stress-free journey from start to finish. We help you find your venue (if you haven't found one already), find vendors that will be best suited for your vision and budget, and communicate with all of your vendors on your behalf. Full service wedding planning begins no sooner than 12 months out from your wedding date if you already have a venue chosen. These services can be booked at any time leading up to your wedding as we do also offer partial planning packages.
On the other hand, wedding day coordination involves stepping in around 60 days out from your wedding day to bring all the details that you've already planned together. We will make final confirmations with all of your vendors, create your wedding day timeline, and flawlessly execute your wedding day ensuring your vision is brought to life.
Our biggest differentiator to other wedding planners is our ability to meet our couple where they’re at. Need an evening or weekend meeting with us? We got you. Prefer texting over emails? Text away. Want Stella to join us at our next meeting? That’s perfect because she always wants pets and to meet new friends.
Wedding planners are here to make sure you have a seamless wedding day but to also make sure you have a stress-free planning experience. You shouldn’t have to stress about when you can talk to your planner.

You are able to book our services at any time during your wedding planning process. The timeline above states when the full capacity of our services begin.
Once you sign your contract with us, we are available for any questions you may have no matter where in the planning process you are.

Of course we can! This would fall under the full service wedding planning package. For partial planning services, you must already have your venue secured.
We are available to go on as many venue tours as needed to find your perfect dream venue! We have extensive venue contacts that we can connect with to ensure this is a smooth process.

You can book with us at any time during your planning process! We can offer custom packages and services depending on where you are at in your planning process and how involved you want us to be.
When we officially hit the ground running is dependent on which service is chosen.
This is complete up to you!
Our exclusive Stella Package allows you to be completely hands off if you choose to do so. All of our other packages are a collaborative experience but allow you the flexibility to decide how much you want to be involved in the decisions.
You have the flexibility to have us choose your vendors for you or have input on which vendors you want to work with, you have the option to choose if you want to be copied on every email (which I don't recommend lol) or only be looped in once final decisions are ready to be made.
How involved you are is completely up to your preference!
This varies depending on the packages chosen and complexity of the events we book as well as if any travel is involved for destination weddings.
We do have a list of vendors we love and trust! However, you are not required to use these vendors. We believe that every wedding and event should be tailored to your specific needs and vision. We don't limit ourselves to a list of vendors.
You can absolutely bring in your own vendors! If there's a photographer or floral designer that you really want to work with, we can absolutely make that happen...as long as they're available!
You should always keep in mind that some venues have a preferred list of vendors that you HAVE to work with. This includes anything from planners to DJ's. It's important to ask about this when going on venue tours, especially if there are vendors you dreamed of working with.
This is up to you! While we will take the lead on vendor communication, you can choose however much you want to be involved in the communication. We can copy you on every single email (which we don't recommend lol) or we can only involve you once final decisions need to be made.
Of course we we can customize packages! We can customize any package to suit your needs the best.
We do offer à la carte services starting at a rate of $85 per hour. This can range from going on venue tours with you to a video call to make sure you're on the right track with your wedding planning.
Other services such as bachelorette party planning or other wedding weekend festivities can be booked on their own or added on to your planning package.
We sure do!
Payment plans can be tailored to your budget and needs. Options are selected with signing your contract via Honeybook. A non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking. The amount of this retainer is dependent on the number of payments chosen for your package.
